Stage 2 of the Antonine College St Josephs Campus redevelopment involved the demolition of an existing sports hall and partial demolition of an education building to enable the construction of new, purpose-built learning and sporting facilities.
The project included a new two-storey education building housing general classrooms alongside specialist science, drama and music spaces, as well as a new two-storey sports building comprising dual courts, a gymnasium and associated amenities. External works delivered new outdoor basketball and futsal courts, stormwater infrastructure, fencing and landscaped passive areas to enhance the broader campus environment.
Delivered through a carefully staged programme with progressive handover, construction was undertaken within a live school setting, requiring detailed coordination, acoustic management and flexible site logistics to minimise disruption. The result is a cohesive, modern campus that supports both learning and active use while maintaining uninterrupted school operations throughout construction.
A staged redevelopment delivered within a live school environment, creating contemporary learning, sporting and outdoor facilities while carefully managing continuity of education.
